who helps us

All those who support us with their donations and contributions, as it is true that Francesco and Nevia are "in the front line", but they couldn't do much without the help of all those who, from Italy, provide them with the necessary instruments to actually give help to the kids and the mothers.

All those who devote some of their time to help us with services within their competence, like Piergiorgio Sansone, nicknamed Joy (for our website), and Dino Novello (computer assistance, and software for the management of donations).

All those who - like Andrea (pediatrician) Azzurra (pediatrician) Andrea (anesthesiologist), Francesca (orthopedist) Katia (student in medicine), Venturella (schoolteacher), Roberto and Paola (two young university students) - decided to dedicate a short period of their life to voluntary work in Ethiopia, helping us in the "Emergency Center", and in the "JNM Children’s Village".

All those who work as volunteers from Italy, spreading information on our project, with "word of mouth", introducing us, and our work to friends, relatives, and colleagues.

All those who, on the occasion of weddings, christenings, and other celebrations, asked their guests, instead of other presents, to make donations to our Foundation.

All those who, in their professional activity, spread information on our project and activities to their customers, suppliers, employees, and collaborators.

All those who, on the occasion of birthdays, or feast days, have given as a present to friends and relatives "one meter of Heaven" for the building of our village, and will give "one day in Heaven" for the functining of the Village and the Emergency Centre.

All those who feel they share even one only of the reasons that pushed Francesco (and then Nevia) to make their choice of life.

* * * * *

*) There was nothing missing in my life and, in the moment you miss nothing, I think you have the duty to take care of those whose only possession in nothing"

*) I believe each of us, one day, will be asked about "the last ones on earth" and I don't want to answer "I knew . but I couldn't do anything, because I was too busy."

*) I believe life is a too precious gift to simply let it flow away "like sand in your fingers."

*) There are abandoned children who have hunger of love, rather than bread, who need someone to laugh with in their happy moments and someone who can wipe off their tears, when they are crying."

*) Someone told me that "all that is not given, is lost" and here all is gift, nothing of what I do is lost".

*) I'm here because I was "given" the possibility to choose, therefore I couldn't be elsewhere

". since I am here, there have been many difficulties, misunderstandings, dark moments, but something was always there: the endless joy of doing something I truly love"
